The issue presented in this appeal is whether the trial court erred in allowing Appellant Vincent Monica to proceed pro se without conducting a colloquy to determine if he sought to waive his right to counsel. Because the trial court failed to ascertain from Appellant whether he knowingly, voluntarily and intelligently waived his right to counsel, we reverse the order of the Superior Court which affirmed the judgment of sentence and remand to the trial court for a new trial. 393 Pa.
